    Automotive Technician – European Specialist

    Location: BMV Service, Gaithersburg, MD

    Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.

    The Role

    As a full-time Automotive Technician, you will:

    Perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and complex repairs on European vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, VW)

    Use advanced diagnostic equipment and dealer-level tools to troubleshoot engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, climate control, and electrical systems across all major European brands

    Communicate clearly with service writer and internal team members—update service writer in real-time with photos, recommended services, and progress reports

    Ensure top-tier craftsmanship and strictly follow OEM procedures

    Maintain accurate service records and recommendations for follow-up work

    Requirements

    Experience: Minimum 2+ years working specifically with European vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, VW)

    Technical Skills:

    Proficient with advanced diagnostic tools and electronic systems

    Skilled in engine/transmission work, braking systems, A/C, and electrical diagnostics

    Comfortable working independently and handling complex repairs

    Certifications: ASE certification preferred; European brand-specific training is a plus

    Soft Skills:

    Excellent customer communication—transparent, honest, and professional

    Strong organizational habits and attention to detail

    Team-oriented mindset and flexibility to grow with a fast-paced shop
