Position Summary

Hiring an experienced A-Level or Master Automotive Technician for a high-volume, top-rated shop in Lawrence, KS. This is a strong opportunity for a diagnostic-focused technician who wants consistent workflow, high flagged hours, and top flat-rate earning potential.

This busy AAA shop works on all makes and models and is built for productive technicians who take pride in accurate repairs, advanced diagnostics, and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex automotive repairs
• Service and repair all makes and models in a high-volume shop environment
• Complete mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, drivetrain, and general repair work
• Use diagnostic tools and repair information to identify root causes accurately
• Work efficiently to maximize flagged hours while maintaining repair quality
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and teammates
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
• Follow proper safety procedures and shop standards

Requirements

• 7+ years of automotive repair experience
• 5+ years of strong diagnostic experience
• Proven A-Level or Master-level technician productivity
• Experience working on all makes and models
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license
• ASE certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain
