Location: Newville, PA
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday closed

We are seeking an experienced A Level Automotive Technician in Newville, PA with advanced diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and accurately identify the root cause of vehicle concerns.
  • Diagnose complex automotive electrical systems, drivability concerns, and check-engine-light issues.
  • Read and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to support efficient electrical troubleshooting.
  • Perform mechanical repairs, component replacement, and R&R work as needed across a wide range of vehicle systems.
  • Work effectively on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
  • Maintain high standards for repair quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
  • Communicate diagnostic findings and repair needs clearly with the service team.
  • Assist and mentor less-experienced technicians when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional automotive shop repair experience.
  • Strong A Level automotive diagnostic capabilities with advanced electrical diagnostic skills required.
  • Strong mechanical repair background and willingness to perform both diagnostic and mechanical work.
  • Ability to diagnose vehicle concerns efficiently, accurately, and independently.
  • Comfortable servicing domestic, Asian, and European vehicles in an independent repair environment.
  • Previous independent automotive repair shop experience strongly preferred.
  • Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection License and Pennsylvania Emissions Inspection Certification preferred; candidates without these credentials must be willing to obtain them as soon as possible after hire.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $80,000-$110,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Earning potential of $110,000+; compensation may exceed the stated salary range for an exceptional candidate.
