Automotive Shipping/Receiving Advisor

Columbus, OH 

Full-Time Monday through Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm

$17 per hour

As the Shipping/Receiving Advisor, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing automotive parts and vehicles, supporting our service and sales departments efficiently. .

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the accurate shipping and receiving of automotive parts and vehicles.
• Inspect shipments for damages or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping and receiving records.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in maintaining inventory control and stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations during shipping and receiving processes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in an automotive setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications and inventory software is a plus.
