What You'll Do
- Perform work on the repair order efficiently and to dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems with diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, and more
- Communicate with Service Advisors so customers know about additional needed service, with time estimates
- Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Keep customer vehicles clean and your stall orderly
What You Bring
- High school diploma
- At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance and electronic diagnostic equipment
- Quick problem identification and strong analytical skills
- Good reading, computer, and math skills, and a drive to learn new technology and procedures
- Clear communication, strong customer service, and a team-player attitude
- Valid driver's license
