    Description

    Volvo Cars Richmond hosts an onsite Volvo service and repair center as well as a parts center. From basic maintenance to repairs to part replacements - our expert technicians are here to handle it all.

    We are seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Technician to join the Haley team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will work closely with other team members to provide high-quality service to our customers. Your expertise and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in Automotive Technology
    • Master Mechanic
    • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
    • Certification with Volvo, Toyota, GM, Ford, or CDJR
    • State Inspection License
    • Experience with computer diagnostic systems
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Performing diagnostic tests on vehicles to identity problems
    • Repairing or replacing parts as needed
    • Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and services performed
    • Communicating with customers about their vehicle's needs and providing recommendations
    • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • At least 2 plus years of experience as an Automotive Technician
    • Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Valid and clean driver's license

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift
    • Weekends as scheduled
