Automotive Service Technician
Location: Kuhio Ford – Lihue, HI

Pay: Based on experience
Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (rotating Saturdays as needed)
Ability to Commute: Lihue, HI (Required)

Kuhio Ford is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Whether you're experienced or looking to grow, Kuhio Ford provides the tools and training needed for success.
Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on Ford and non-Ford vehicles
Complete routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings clearly
Follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines for all repairs and services
Document work performed and parts used on repair orders
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians
Stay current with Ford service bulletins and training opportunities
Ensure all work meets dealership quality and safety standards
2+ years of experience in automotive repair (Ford experience a plus)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Proficient with automotive tools and diagnostic equipment
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
