Automotive Service Technician – Diehl Chevrolet of Grove City

Full-Time | Chevrolet / GM Service | Grove City, PA

Diehl Chevrolet of Grove City is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service department in Grove City, Pennsylvania.

If you're an experienced automotive technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics and quality repairs, this is an opportunity to build your career with a busy dealership backed by Diehl Automotive.

Experience with Chevrolet, General Motors (GM), Buick, GMC, or Cadillac vehicles is a plus, but experienced technicians from other manufacturers and independent repair facilities are encouraged to apply.

Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will:

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns

• Perform automotive maintenance and repair services

• Complete engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC repairs

• Diagnose check-engine lights and other warning indicators

• Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance

• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections

• Use computerized diagnostic equipment and manufacturer repair information

• Identify necessary and recommended repairs

• Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors

• Complete customer-pay and warranty repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards

• Follow Chevrolet and GM repair procedures when applicable

• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation

• Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Participate in manufacturer and dealership training as required

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

• Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience

• Strong automotive diagnostic and repair skills

• Knowledge of modern vehicle electrical and mechanical systems

• Ability to use diagnostic scanners and automotive repair equipment

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a service team

• Good communication and time-management skills

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

ASE certifications and Chevrolet/GM training or certifications are preferred but not required.

Experience as a GM Technician, Chevrolet Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Service Technician, Dealership Technician, Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or General Service Technician is highly desirable.
