Pugmire Ford of Carrollton is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. If you take pride in quality work, thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment, and believe in getting the job done right the first time — this is your lane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle diagnostics, services, and repairs in accordance with Ford and industry standards
- Complete accurate multi-point inspections and properly document findings
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and return vehicles in clean condition
- Properly use and maintain personal tools and shop equipment
- Communicate repair needs clearly with Service Advisors, Parts, and Management
- Follow all safety protocols, including team lifting procedures
- Complete all required Ford training and stay current on technical updates and bulletins
- Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support additional service operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Ford experience preferred
- Must have own tools
- Strong diagnostic skills with experience in powertrain and general repair
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with ADAS, diesel, and alignments is a plus
- Ability to read schematics and operate diagnostic equipment
- Prior dealership experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
