Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Complete oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and routine maintenance (Express & Lube Technicians)
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC systems, and other vehicle components (Experienced Technicians)
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
- Test-drive vehicles and operate diagnostic equipment to accurately identify concerns
- Communicate repair recommendations and estimated repair times with Service Advisors
- Complete warranty repairs according to Subaru manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain accurate repair documentation
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Hiring technicians of all experience levels
- Previous automotive technician experience preferred but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Subaru or import experience is a plus, but not required
- ASE Certifications are preferred for experienced technicians
- Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn new vehicle technologies and repair procedures
- Basic computer skills and experience using diagnostic equipment
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
