    About the Job

    Join Colonial Ford Truck Sales as a Service Support Staff team member and help deliver an outstanding service experience. You’ll support the day-to-day operations of our service department and helping ensure the department runs smoothly.

    This role is ideal for someone looking to learn and grow within the Service department, comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment. If you enjoy customer interaction, teamwork, and keeping things moving behind the scenes, we encourage you to apply.

    Service Support Staff Responsibilities

    • Supporting service technicians through daily tasks

    • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency under the supervision of a Master Technician

    • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

    • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

    • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

    • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications under the supervision of a Master Technician

    Service Support Staff Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent automotive technical degree/certification

    • Service department a plus, but not required
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

    • Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Basic computer knowledge and clerical experience preferred

    • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods

    • Availability to work during regular dealership business hours

    Pay & Benefits

    Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 hourly wage or more, based on experience
    Schedule: Full-time, daytime hours; Monday–Friday
