Description

We have a position available for a  Shop Manager at our Buckhead location. We have locations in both Georgia and Texas. European Service Center has been a family-owned business since 1980. You are not just a number with us. We are looking to expand over the coming years, so there are plenty of opportunities for advancement.

We are looking for a honest, energetic person with a good work ethic that want to see their hard work payoff in increased income and business growth. This is a position that will allow for advancement to a shop manager as we continue to open new locations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Service Department Operations:
  • Assigns jobs and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge.
  • Prepare & Review all repair work orders for accuracy and completeness in concerning parts, materials, and labor.
  • Directs and assist in the diagnosis of problems for technicians and apprentices and provides instruction as required.
  • Works in all aspects of the Service Department in fulfilling the responsibilities of the Service Manager.
  • Promotes loyalty and customer goodwill and protects company image.
  • Appraisal of repair work coming into the shop.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment for all technicians.
  • Perform other duties and functions as directed by Management in line with the objectives of the dealership.
Customer Service:
  • Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns.
  • Be aware of and track "comebacks" and make sure the problem is corrected to the customer and dealership’s satisfaction.
  • Greet customers immediately in a courteous manner.
  • Treat customers fairly and with honesty, and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:
  • Must have an outgoing, friendly personality and superior communication & customer service skills.
  • Experience working in a service department.
  • Ability to write and work on routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Experience with common dealership computer systems.
  • Good computer skills.
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent. Graduation from Tech program preferred but not required.
  • Ability to speak effectively one-on-one or before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Organizational and leadership skills.
