A busy, well-established all makes and models automotive repair shop in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a driven and customer-focused Service Advisor to join the team. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and manage the service experience from vehicle check-in to delivery.
- Write and manage repair orders for all makes and models, presenting clear and accurate estimates.
- Communicate recommended services confidently and professionally.
- Coordinate workflow between technicians and customers to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Track approvals, follow up with customers, and maintain strong CSI.
- Help drive sales performance while maintaining transparency and trust.
- Maintain an organized and professional front office environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor (independent or dealership).
- Strong sales ability and customer communication skills.
- Solid understanding of automotive systems across domestic and import vehicles.
- Experience with shop management software (Tekmetric, RO Writer, Mitchell, etc.).
- Ability to multitask and perform in a high-volume setting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
