We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our fast-paced, independent automotive repair facility. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and skilled at managing front-office operations while supporting a team of highly trained technicians.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer.
  • Strong customer service, repair estimating, parts procurement, and repair order dispatching skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers in person, over the phone, and through digital communication.
  • Medium-duty and diesel truck experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience using shop management software, email, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers, assess vehicle concerns, and provide accurate repair recommendations.
  • Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and maintain customer communications.
  • Prepare repair orders and accurate estimates.
  • Utilize professional sales techniques and excellent phone etiquette.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
  • Coordinate workflow between technicians and customers to ensure efficient bay utilization.
  • Manage repair order dispatching and shop scheduling.
  • Assist with billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
  • Maintain accurate records using point-of-sale and shop management software.
