The Automotive Service Advisor at Smithtown Volkswagen plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by providing
exceptional service and advice on vehicle maintenance and repair. This position requires a strong understanding of
automotive systems, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide detailed explanations of the recommended repairs and services
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on the status of their vehicles
- Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Upsell additional services and products as needed
- Maintain accurate records of service history and customer interactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive service advising or a related field
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling and record-keeping
