Service Advisor or Automotive Technician Experience Required

Mazda of New Rochelleis seeking to hire an experiencedAutomotive Service Advisor to advise our customers on service options and costs when their vehicle needs repair.

With two dealership operations supporting new and pre-owned vehicles, our service department benefits from multiple sources of customer and repair business. Responsibilities:

• Greet service customers and accurately document vehicle concerns
• Prepare repair orders and provide service estimates
• Review technician findings and explain recommended maintenance and repairs
• Communicate repair costs, timelines, and vehicle status to customers
• Recommend appropriate services based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines
• Coordinate with Technicians and service personnel to ensure timely repairs
• Build lasting customer relationships and provide excellent service

Qualifications:

• Previous Service Advisor or Automotive Technician experience in a dealership or independent repair facility required
• Service Advisor experience in related industries such as motorsports, RV, or powersports will also be considered
• CDK experience is a plus!
• Sales or Customer Service experience in any industry is a plus!

• Good understanding of automotive maintenance and repair
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers and dealership software
• Professional appearance and dependable work habits

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
