Automotive Service Advisor

Join a Shop That’s Building Something Different

Critical Automotive isn’t interested in being an average repair shop.

We believe no one should be afraid to take their car to a repair shop, so we built one where people can feel safe and confident bringing their vehicle to us.

We are building a company known for exceptional customer service, high-quality repairs, honesty, professionalism, and a team culture people actually want to be a part of. Our goal is to set a new standard for what an automotive repair shop can be.

We’re looking for a high-performing Automotive Service Advisor who wants to help us build it.

This is not a position for someone looking to simply answer phones, write repair orders, and collect a paycheck. We want someone who takes ownership, communicates exceptionally well, enjoys helping customers, can confidently sell needed repairs, and wants to grow alongside the company.

Schedule

4-Day Work Week — Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM

Work four days and enjoy a three-day weekend every week. We believe in working hard, performing at a high level, and still having time outside of work.

What You’ll Own

As our Service Advisor, you will be the primary connection between our customers and our technicians. You’ll be responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience from the first phone call through the final vehicle pickup.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and converting opportunities into appointments
  • Greeting customers and building long-term relationships
  • Listening to customer concerns and accurately documenting them
  • Building and presenting estimates
  • Explaining inspection results and repair recommendations clearly and confidently
  • Following up on estimates and declined work
  • Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
  • Managing the daily schedule and helping maintain an efficient workflow
  • Coordinating with technicians to keep vehicles moving through the shop
  • Setting clear expectations for customers regarding pricing and completion times
  • Ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience from beginning to end
  • Helping identify opportunities to improve our systems, processes, and customer experience
What We Expect

We have high standards, not just for the work we perform, but for how we operate as a team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes ownership instead of making excuses
  • Does what they say they are going to do
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Can confidently ask for the sale without being pushy or dishonest
  • Understands that following up is part of serving the customer
  • Stays organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Pays attention to details
  • Handles problems calmly and looks for solutions
  • Is coachable and actively wants to improve
  • Treats customers and coworkers with respect
  • Takes pride in their work and workplace
  • Wants to be part of building something bigger than just another repair shop
Our Culture

We are intentionally building an A+ culture.

That means high standards, accountability, constant improvement, teamwork, and taking pride in what we do.

We want people who push each other to get better while still enjoying coming to work. We believe great people should be recognized, given opportunities to grow, and rewarded as the company grows.

Negativity, laziness, drama, dishonesty, and a "that's not my job" mentality don't fit here.

You don't have to know everything on day one. You do need to be hungry to learn, willing to accept coaching, and committed to becoming excellent at what you do.
