A Busy Store Creates Opportunity This is a fast-paced position in a busy, high-volume Service Department. For the right Service Advisor, thats a major advantage. Youll work with a steady flow of customers and manage multiple repair orders, service recommendations, customer conversations and follow-up needs throughout the day. What Youll Do As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will: Greet customers and identify their vehicle service and repair needsListen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document them on repair ordersAdvise customers regarding factory-recommended maintenance and needed repairsReview technician findings and explain recommendations clearly to customersPrepare and communicate service estimatesObtain customer authorization for maintenance and repairsKeep customers informed throughout the repair processCommunicate expected completion times and changes as necessaryBuild long-term customer relationships that generate repeat and referral businessCoordinate effectively with technicians, Parts personnel and Service managementMonitor repair-order progressMaintain accurate repair-order and customer documentationFollow up with customers when appropriateHelp maintain an efficient and professional Service DriveMeet individual and department customer-satisfaction and performance objectivesRepresent Arlington Heights Ford professionally in every customer interaction Compensation Annual Earning Potential: $80,000$130,000+ Arlington Heights Ford is a busy, high-volume Service Department where successful Service Advisors have the opportunity to earn a strong income. $80,000 represents the lower end of expected annual earnings for a successful full-time Service Advisor in this position. High-performing Advisors have the opportunity to earn well into six figures. Compensation is performance-based. Actual earnings will vary based on individual performance, customer activity, repair-order volume and the terms of the applicable compensation plan.
