    Description

    We are seeking a driven, experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team at Walker Automotive. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, digitally savvy, and hands-on with modern automotive retail tools. This role requires strong leadership, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to actively manage CRM systems and digital leads while driving profitability and volume.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales, gross, and CSI goals
    • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including desk deals, appraisals, and deal structure
    • Actively manage CRM workflows, internet leads, and digital retail processes to ensure fast response times and high conversion rates
    • Monitor and improve lead handling, follow-up processes, and appointment show rates
    • Work closely with marketing, BDC, and finance teams to maximize opportunities
    • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and legal requirements
    • Analyze sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs; adjust strategies as needed
    • Maintain a strong showroom presence and lead by example with customers and staff
    • Foster a positive, accountable, and high-energy sales culture

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum of 2+ years of automotive management experience (Sales Manager, Desk Manager, or similar role required)
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and gross objectives
    • Digital retail savvy with a strong understanding of online car buying tools
    • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and lead management (internet, phone, and showroom leads)
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
    • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with OEM programs and reporting
    • Strong closing and negotiation abilities
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to coach based on performance metrics
