Automotive Sales Consultant - BMW of Barrington

Position Summary: We are hiring immediately for a motivated sales professional who can deliver an exceptional customer experience, guide clients through the car-buying process, present BMW vehicles with confidence, and help drive sales growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed product information and professional BMW vehicle demonstrations.
  • Guide customers through the sales process from initial inquiry to final delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay current on BMW models, features, financing options, and market trends.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to meet and exceed dealership goals.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and organized showroom environment.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Previous sales experience required; automotive sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of BMW vehicles or a strong interest in the luxury automotive market is a plus.
