Automotive Sales Associate

Full-Time | In-Person | Competitive Pay + Bonuses

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Automotive Sales Associate to join our reputable hometown dealership. In this role, you will help customers find the right vehicle for their needs while maintaining a strong sales pipeline and supporting overall dealership success. The ideal candidate is energetic, confident, and passionate about both sales and the automotive industry. You will play a key role in managing inventory, generating leads, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget.

  • Conduct cold calls to generate new leads and follow up on sales opportunities.

  • Maintain an organized and active sales pipeline to track prospects and close deals.

  • Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate listings and up‑to‑date vehicle availability.

  • Utilize CRM and inventory management software to track customer interactions and sales activity.

  • Present vehicles to customers, highlighting features, benefits, and available financing options.

  • Deliver confident public speaking presentations during vehicle showcases or promotional events.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed dealership sales goals.

  • Guide customers through the entire purchasing process to ensure a seamless, positive experience.

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous retail or automotive sales experience is preferred but not required.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and inventory management software is a plus.

  • Strong phone skills, people skills, and lead‑generation skills are highly valued.

  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

  • A genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry is beneficial.

Schedule
