A very busy automotive restoration facility in the Chicago western suburbs seeks a self motivated, hard working individual. We specialize i frame off restoration and high end, exotic vehicle collision work.
Responsibility
- Disassemble and assemble restoration projects including removal of body components.
- Ability to categorize and log parts removed from vehicles for storage.
- Work with the management team to analyze and determine what actions are needed to recondition or replace parts to restore the vehicle.
- Disassemble and assemble collision work on higher end and exotic vehicles maintain a restoration mentality.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Qualifications
- Self motivate/goal setter
- At least 5 years automotive repair experience.
- Detail oriented/Attention to detail is crucial.
- Ability to maintain focus over a long term repair process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Understanding of automotive mechanical systems.
- Understanding of automotive electrical systems.
- Ability to use care and precision to assemble finished painted, or plated parts.
- Familiarity with automotive restoration procedures.
- ASE/ICAR certification a plus
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Valid Driver license/U.S. citizen or valid work visa.
Start Date/Hours
- Immediate start available
- Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm daily Monday-Friday
Compensation
- Hourly pay is based on experience and skills
- Overtime is available when necessary for job completion
