Introduction

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the automotive industry as a network engineer. The role involves developing and managing communication network topologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation of automotive systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAN, CAN FD, and Automotive Ethernet networks.
  • Experience with diagnostic and testing tools like Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience in requirements authoring, CAN database understanding, and coordination with signals requestor-receiver on finalization of updates to the database.
  • Strong working knowledge of the OSI model, CAN, and Ethernet protocols.
  • 4-8 years of experience in a related field.
  • Prior work experience in the automotive industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in requirement understanding and SysML.
  • Exposure to Automotive ADAS domain knowledge.
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262, Functional Safety (FuSa).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Work closely with OEM System engineers, software engineers, validation engineers, and manufacturing teams to analyze feature behavior and the impact of signals in feature logic.
  • Develop communication network topologies and define database requirements (e.g., creating .dbc, .arxml).
  • Provide excellent verbal and written communication for working with cross functional teams, OEM stakeholders, and global engineering teams.
  • Create clear documentation, technical reports, and present system concepts effectively.
