Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, filters, batteries, and inspections
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and engine performance concerns
- Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Complete warranty repairs following OEM procedures
- Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify vehicle issues
- Read and interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and technical information
- Inspect vehicles and recommend additional maintenance or repairs when needed
- Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, electrical, and brake repairs
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and technician notes
- Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all OSHA, EPA, dealership, and manufacturer safety guidelines
- Continuously participate in manufacturer and dealership training programs
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening as required
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital repair orders
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
