Fletcher Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is hiring experienced used car mechanics to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles across a variety of makes and models.

We welcome mechanics at different skill levels-from maintenance and general repair to advanced diagnostics. Every applicant must have at least four years of professional automotive repair experience and a formal automotive education or structured training background.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Minimum four years of professional automotive mechanic experience

• Automotive education or structured training through a college, technical school, trade school, recognized apprenticeship, manufacturer program, or comparable documented training

• Ability to explain your training, qualifications, and hands-on repair experience

• Strong commitment to safe, accurate, professional repairs

Self-taught or informal repair experience alone does not meet the training requirement. A college degree is not required, but a qualifying education or structured training background is required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Inspect used vehicles and identify mechanical, safety, and maintenance needs

• Diagnose and repair vehicles across multiple makes and models

• Perform brakes, steering, suspension, cooling system, electrical, and other repairs within your qualifications

• Complete maintenance and reconditioning work to prepare vehicles for sale

• Use diagnostic equipment and technical service information appropriately

• Document findings and communicate repair recommendations clearly

• Verify completed repairs and maintain a clean, safe work area

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Professional shop experience working on multiple vehicle brands

• Diagnostic and repair abilities appropriate to your skill level

• Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

• Dependability, accountability, and the ability to work with a team

• ASE certifications are welcome

• Chrysler certification is not required for this used car mechanic position
