About the Position
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Automotive Lube Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to grow their automotive skills in a professional shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance
- Replace oil, air, cabin, and fuel filters as needed
- Inspect and top off vehicle fluids
- Perform tire rotations, tire pressure checks, and basic tire services
- Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, and other vehicle components
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer service recommendations
- Communicate vehicle concerns and recommended services to service advisors or customers
- Properly document work performed on each vehicle
Qualifications
- Previous automotive or lube technician experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to safely lift and handle equipment and work on your feet for extended periods
- ASE certification is a plus but not required
