Automotive Lot Porter
Meridian Automotive is seeking a dedicated and reliable Automotive Lot Porter to join our team. We're a busy automotive repair shop looking for someone to help keep our operations running smoothly. This is a full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay is competitive and depends on experience.
What You'll Do:
This is a dynamic role where you'll be a vital part of our day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Shuttling customers to and from our shop.
Picking up parts from local dealerships and parts suppliers.
Washing and cleaning customer and company vehicles to ensure they're ready for delivery.
Assisting with clerical and cleaning duties around the shop.
Organizing the parking lot to maximize space and efficiency.
Test driving vehicles after repairs to ensure they're running properly.
Providing support to management with various tasks related to the shop's operations.
What We're Looking For:
We need someone who is professional, proactive, and ready to take on a variety of tasks. To be successful in this role, you must have:
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
The ability to drive a manual transmission.
The ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
A clean-cut and presentable appearance, as you will be interacting with customers.
