MrKitt’s Service Center & Towing is seeking reliable Automotive Light Service Drivers to provide professional roadside assistance throughout Philadelphia and surrounding communities. When a customer is stranded with a dead battery, flat tire, locked vehicle, or empty fuel tank, your response matters. We need drivers who arrive prepared, work safely, communicate clearly, and treat every customer with patience and respect. This position requires more than driving. It takes practical automotive skills, good judgment, punctuality, and the ability to work independently while staying connected with dispatch.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly and safely to roadside assistance calls throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
  • Perform battery jump starts, tire changes, tire inflation, vehicle lockouts, fuel delivery, and other assigned light roadside services.
  • Assess each situation before beginning work and follow proper safety procedures to protect customers, vehicles, equipment, and yourself.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch, including arrival updates, service progress, and any issues requiring assistance.
  • Use company-approved apps to contact customers, update job statuses, and document completed services.
  • Operate company service vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Complete service records and required documentation accurately.
  • Inspect your assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment daily and promptly report defects or missing supplies.
  • Keep your service vehicle clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the next call.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude on every assignment.

Required Qualifications:
  • At least 25 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • No major traffic violations, DUI offenses, license suspensions, or preventable accidents within the past five years.
  • Basic automotive knowledge and experience using hand tools.
  • Ability to lift and handle 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to follow instructions, use mobile service apps, and maintain accurate job records.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in roadside assistance, towing, automotive repair, or fleet service.
  • DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Familiarity with Philadelphia and surrounding communities.
  • Experience managing assignments in a busy service environment.
