    Fleet Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift)

You'll lead a team of skilled mechanics, partner with vendors, drive preventive maintenance strategies, and make a direct impact on operational performance and costs.

    What You'll Do

    Keep the Fleet Running

    • Oversee preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
    • Monitor repairs, vehicle inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
    • Identify root causes of mechanical issues and coordinate effective solutions.

    Lead and Develop a Skilled Team

    • Supervise and support a team of automotive mechanics.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop employees through training and performance management.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

    Drive Efficiency and Cost Savings

    • Analyze maintenance trends, equipment performance, and operating expenses.
    • Manage maintenance budgets and approve fleet-related expenditures.
    • Develop initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

    Partner Across the Business

    • Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
    • Manage inventory levels for parts, tires, and critical supplies.
    • Conduct facility and equipment audits to ensure compliance and operational readiness.

    Champion Safety and Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to all safety, regulatory, and maintenance standards.
    • Support a proactive maintenance culture focused on preventing issues before they occur.

    What We're Looking For

    Required Experience

    • 3-5+ years of progressive leadership experience in fleet maintenance, automotive operations, or a related industry.
    • Proven experience leading teams and driving operational results.
    • Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair processes.

    Key Skills

    • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting expertise.
    • Ability to manage maintenance programs, asset performance, and vendor partnerships.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
    • Experience analyzing operational data and implementing improvements.

    Schedule Requirements

    Monday through Friday, with flexibility to support business needs during peak periods and operational events.

    This position supports a 3rd shift operation, with a typical start time of 10:00 PM and 10-hour shifts.

    Must live within the local area. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
