Automotive & Diesel Shop Mechanic

Reds Garage – Muskogee, Oklahoma
Full-Time | Pay Based on Experience

Reds Garage is looking for an experienced, dependable Automotive & Diesel Shop Mechanic to join our growing team in Muskogee.

We work on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment, ranging from passenger cars and pickups to commercial trucks and diesel vehicles. We are looking for someone who can diagnose problems, perform quality repairs, and take pride in getting the job done right.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
• Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance
• Brake, steering, and suspension repairs
• Engine and drivetrain diagnosis and repair
• Cooling system and electrical repairs
• Diesel and gasoline vehicle repair
• Perform inspections and identify needed repairs
• Accurately communicate parts and repair needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Work with the service team to keep jobs moving through the shop

Qualifications

• Previous automotive, diesel, fleet, or commercial vehicle repair experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and work ethic
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to safely operate and road-test vehicles
• Must take pride in producing quality work

Experience with both gasoline and diesel vehicles is a plus. ASE certifications are welcome but are not required. We are more interested in actual experience, mechanical ability, reliability, and the quality of your work.

Pay & Schedule

Pay is based on experience and ability.

This is a full-time shop position with the opportunity to grow as Reds Garage continues to expand.
