Volkswagen of Wesley Chapel is hiring detailers and wash techs. The automotive detailer/wash-tech position is responsible for cleaning and maintain the cleanliness of vehicle inventory, cleaning customer vehicles, and pre-delivery preparation of vehicles, as necessary. This individual must be able to work in quick-paced environments and be detail-oriented. Prior experience is preferable.
- Ensure the exterior of customer vehicles are thoroughly cleaned before leaving the service department.
- Prepare preowned inventory for wholesale or retail sale.
- Assist with routine inventory washes.
- Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface to protect surface and preserve shine, using provided materials.
- Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.
- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide superior quality service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
