Position Summary
The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and maintaining the appearance of customer and dealership vehicles. This role plays an important part in delivering a first-class customer experience by ensuring every vehicle looks its absolute best before delivery or service return.
Responsibilities
- Wash, wax, buff, and detail interior and exterior surfaces of vehicles
- Vacuum, shampoo carpets, and clean upholstery and leather surfaces
- Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, and trim
- Apply protective finishes and detailing products as needed
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation quality before delivery
- Move and park vehicles safely on dealership property
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail area and equipment
- Assist service and sales departments with vehicle preparation
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
