Automotive Detailer / PDI Technician
Position Overview:
DePaula Mazda is looking for a dependable and motivated Automotive Detailer / PDI Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing new and used vehicles for delivery by completing cleaning, detailing, inspection, and pre-delivery tasks.
No prior automotive detailing experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, vacuum, clean, and prepare vehicles for delivery.
- Complete basic pre-delivery Inspection (PDI) procedures.
- Check vehicles for cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition.
- Follow dealership/company standards and inspection procedures.
- Move and park vehicles safely as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- No previous experience required; training provided.
- Valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work outdoors and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
