Automotive Detailer

Grand Island Motor Company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our growing team. As an Automotive Detailer, you will play an important role in preparing vehicles for delivery and maintaining the appearance of customer, inventory, and dealership vehicles. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Wash, wax, polish, and buff vehicles to dealership standards
• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors
• Vacuum carpets, seats, floor mats, and cargo areas
• Clean interior and exterior glass surfaces
• Apply tire dressing and clean wheels, wheel wells, and trim components
• Clean engine compartments when required
• Prepare new and used vehicles for customer delivery
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation quality
• Utilize specialized cleaning products and detailing equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain detailing supplies, tools, and equipment
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with lot presentation and vehicle merchandising as needed
• Follow dealership safety procedures and report any safety concerns immediately
• Deliver exceptional quality and attention to detail on every vehicle

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing experience is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes
• Customer service mindset and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a physically active environment
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening
