Matt Bowers Hyundai in Gulfport is looking for a dependable, motivated Car Porter / Lot Attendant to join our dealership team.

In this hands-on role, you'll help keep our vehicle inventory organized, our lot clean and presentable, and vehicles ready for customers and technicians. If you take pride in your work, drive safely, and enjoy working around cars, we want to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely move and park vehicles between the sales lot, service department, storage areas, and customer pickup locations.

  • Maintain accurate vehicle locations and follow dealership procedures for handling keys.

  • Arrange vehicles to keep displays organized, attractive, and accessible.

  • Check vehicles for damage and promptly report any concerns.

  • Help maintain clean vehicle interiors and exteriors.

  • Keep the lot, vehicle staging areas, and surrounding grounds clean and orderly.

  • Assist with fueling vehicles and checking basic fluid levels as directed.

  • Perform basic vehicle upkeep, such as battery assistance, when trained and authorized.

  • Run dealership errands and transport vehicles off-site as assigned.

  • Work with sales and service staff to prepare vehicles for appointments and delivery.

  • Treat customers, coworkers, and dealership property with care and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

  • Previous porter, lot attendant, valet, or similar experience preferred.

  • Safe driving habits and careful attention to detail.

  • Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions.

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.

  • Ability to work outdoors and remain active throughout the shift.

  • Willingness to learn and assist with a variety of dealership tasks.

  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
