Hondru Auto Group is seeking a dependable, highly skilled, and team-oriented Body Technician and Paint Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art Collision Center in Manheim, PA. We are looking for an experienced Body Technician and Painter who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and possesses strong attention to detail.
Compensation will vary based on applicants' experience. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
Prepare vehicles for body repair work and completed body repairs.
Check parts against the estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.
Mask and protect parts that are not to be painted or coated.
Mix paint according to specifications.
Select and mix coating liquid to produce the desired color.
Paint surfaces using a sprayer or brush as appropriate.
Inspect painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags, and unpainted areas.
Maintain tools and keep equipment clean and in a proper state of repair.
Keep work area clean.
Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including a respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
Comply with all laws and regulations about paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Report any deviations to management.
Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
