Automotive Assistant Service Advisor-Murray

Harlan Automotive is a family-owned and operated automotive repair business with locations in Murray and Paducah, Kentucky. We take pride in providing quality automotive repairs, outstanding customer service, and a workplace where our employees can grow and succeed.

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Assistant Service Advisor to join our team at both locations.

What You'll Be Doing:

As an Assistant Service Advisor, you'll work alongside our Service Advisor and technicians to help keep our shop running smoothly and our customers informed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting customers and providing a friendly, professional experience.
• Answering incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments.
• Assisting with customer check-ins and vehicle repair orders.
• Helping communicate vehicle inspection results and repair recommendations to customers.
• Keeping customers updated on the status of their vehicles.
• Assisting with repair estimates, parts coordination, and repair scheduling.
• Helping coordinate communication between Service Advisors and technicians.
• Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle information in our shop management system.
• Assisting with customer checkouts, invoices, and payments.
• Supporting the Service Advisor with daily operations and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with computers and learning new software.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Basic automotive knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Previous customer service, automotive service, or office experience is a plus.

Automotive experience is not required for the right candidate. We are willing to train someone who has the right attitude and work ethic.
