Compensation: $21–$25/hour | Approx. $43,680–$52,000 annually

Lovering Volvo Cars Meredith is looking for an Accounting Assistant & Title Clerk to join our accounting team.

Automotive experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person.

If you're organized, dependable, good with details, and enjoy working with a team, we'd like to meet you. You may already have experience in an administrative, accounting, banking, insurance, office, or automotive role and be looking for your next opportunity.

What You'll Do

You'll play an important role in keeping our dealership's accounting and vehicle paperwork accurate, organized, and moving on time.

Responsibilities include:

• Process vehicle title and registration paperwork accurately and on time

• Process paperwork from our Finance & Insurance department

• Track funding on financed vehicle purchases

• Prepare vehicle and trade-in payoff checks

• Process daily receipts and ACH deposits

• Process floor plan payoffs

• Maintain and update management reports

• Process wholesale transactions, dealer trades, and intercompany transactions

• Maintain certificates of origin and titles for new and used vehicle inventory

• Reconcile accounting schedules

• Assist with month-end accounting

• Learn and stay current with title and registration requirements

• Assist the accounting team wherever needed

Automotive title or dealership accounting experience is a plus, but don't let a lack of automotive experience stop you from applying. If you have the right attitude, work ethic, and attention to detail, we can teach you the automotive side of the position.

Compensation

$21–$25 per hour, based on experience.

Approximately $43,680–$52,000 annually based on a 40-hour workweek, plus benefits.
