Role: Automation Tester
Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid-1 week/month)
Experience: - Min. 8+ Years
As an Automation Tester, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.
Responsibilities: -
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/Python)
- Build scalable automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end testing
- Perform ETL/data validation testing to ensure data accuracy across source and target systems
- Write complex SQL queries for data verification and backend validation
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub/Jenkins) Drive test strategy, test planning, and defect management
- Ensure coverage for functional, regression, and performance scenarios
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Playwright automation (UI & API testing)
- Proficiency in Python scripting (preferred) or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with SQL (complex joins, aggregations, validation queries)
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data testing methodologies
- Experience with API testing (REST, JSON, Postman/Playwright)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Strong knowledge of test frameworks, design patterns, and QA best practices
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Exposure to data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Synapse
- Knowledge of performance testing tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
Educational Qualifications: -
- Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
