Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Quality Assurance. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Quality Assurance challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Responsibilities:
Design, customization and optimization of test suites for web and desktop-based applications
Work closely with various business and technical groups with both digital and mainframe capabilities to pursue and deliver automated solutions that drive efficiency and bring the Testing Services vision and strategy to life
Perform Manual and automated testing
Participating in BRD and FSD reviews.
Provide status reporting, defect triage, test summary, testing traceability.
Conduct meetings and reviews as needed with Operations and other stakeholders.
Agile testing responsibilities include: grooming sessions, sprint planning and participation, daily SCRUM calls.
Partner with the Line of Business, Risk/Compliance, and technology partners across Operations
Consult with users providing advice and direction
Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
Research system features being tested
Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects
Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Overall 5 years of experience spanned across various testing area
2+ years of experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines or workflows, version control, test management, and integrating automation frameworks
3+ years of hands on experience in:
Automation strategy, framework implementation, planning, scripting and execution
Creating technology solutions for business and communicating value
Automation framework (data driven, hybrid and behavior driven development concepts), design and enhancements
Cucumber/BDD - based frameworks
Selenium with Java - Junit/TestNG framework in Vs Code
Playwright
Version control repo - GITHUB
Test scheduling and execution on Hyperexecute etc.
HP-QC/ALM, TFS, JIRA or a relevant defect management tool
Software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality thorough the entire software development cycle
Advanced knowledge and understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
Hands on expertise with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, Confluence etc…
Experience in User Acceptance development & implementation
Relevant industry certification such as, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, ISTQB, PMP or other specialized IT certifications preferred
