Automation Technician – Electrical & Controls

A growing manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support production equipment and plant systems. This role focused on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair plant electrical and electronic systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs, controls, sensors, and automated equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
- Read electrical schematics and equipment drawings
- Document maintenance activities through a CMMS
- Follow all safety and LOTO procedures
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs and automated equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics
