Job Title: Automation Technician Robotics & Automation
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Automation Technician to support robotic and automated manufacturing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting industrial robots, EOAT, PLC/HMI-controlled equipment, sensors, pneumatic systems, and automation systems.

Required Skills

• Hands-on Industrial Robotics experience
• EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) experience
• Basic PLC and HMI knowledge
• Experience troubleshooting automated equipment
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, pneumatics, conveyors, and basic electrical systems
• Ability to perform robot setup, adjustments, fault recovery, and troubleshooting
  

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial robots and automation equipment
• Support EOAT setup, adjustments, and repairs
• Diagnose robot alarms, sensors, grippers, and equipment faults
• Use PLC/HMI interfaces for troubleshooting and machine support
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Support equipment startups, changeovers, and continuous improvement activities
• Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams
