Job Title: Automation Technician Robotics & Automation

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Automation Technician to support, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial robots and automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial robotic equipment.
• Support EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot robot alarms, sensors, grippers, vacuum systems, and sequences.
• Use basic PLC and HMI knowledge for equipment troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and automation components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support production startups, changeovers, trials, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Perform basic robot teaching and adjustments when required.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on Industrial Robotics experience Must Have
• EOAT experience Must Have
• Basic PLC knowledge
• Basic HMI knowledge
• Hands-on automation/equipment troubleshooting
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork and willingness to learn

Additional Details:

• Experience: 2+ years preferred
• Shift: Day 6:00 AM 6:00 PM / Night 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts
