    HiFyve has a client in Columbia, MO is that is hiring for an Automation Technician.


    Salary: $36-$45/hour 

    Night Shift: 2-2-3 schedule

    This position is responsible for ensuring proper maintenance and repairs of all automated plant equipment in a food and beverage production facility. 


    Responsibilities 

    • Utilize knowledge of PLC to develop, maintain, and improve facility PLC systems.
    • Diagnose and repair computerized control systems in a food and beverage production environment
    • Assist other team members in performing mechanical repairs related to automation.
    • Performs tests and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment
    • Interpret readings and outputs of equipment to ensure proper functioning of equipment and related systems
    • Collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of automated equipment, minimize downtime and optimizing performance.


    Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • 3+ years of education and/or experience supporting industrial networking
    • 3+ years of education and/or experience supporting Rockwell Automation, Mitsubishi PLCs, and VFDs
    • 3+ years of education and/or experience programming or altering programs in PLCs, HMI, VFDs, and Rockwell Automation programs
    • 3+ years of education and/or experience installing and calibrating industrial sensors, meters, and measuring instruments for level, temperature, pH, and flow.
    • Good communication skills with a strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Advanced certification or training in PLC programming and automation technologies preferred 
    • CAD Experience preferred
