Automation Technician 6 - All Shifts - Albany

SUMMARY: This position requires proficiency in the following areas; ability to operate lathe, milling machine, drill press, and grinder; reverse engineer small parts as needed; weld (TIG and MIG); read and interpret blueprints; read and interpret various measuring devices such as gauges, calipers, indicators and micrometers; cut, square, mill, tape and bore; work with all types of metal and plastic.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Training beyond high school including either an Associate(A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technicalfield), or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training.Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related field; industrialmaintenance or automation experience preferred; some experience in electrical and mechanical required.Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; must have strong skills indocument organization, the use of technical materials, and researchtechniques. Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance.

Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate verbally and inwriting with all team members.Supervisory: NATravel: As needed.
