Our growth-oriented company operates on six primary values to create maximum results in the workplace: support, transparency, respect, innovation, dependability, and efficiency.Role SummaryAs an Automation Service Technician, you’ll keep customer automation equipment running safely and reliably through on-site and in-house service. This role exists to deliver accurate troubleshooting, quality repairs, and clear communication that protects uptime and project profitability.Key responsibilities:- Repair, install, and verify operation of assigned machines and equipment- Diagnose system issues, recommend solutions, and execute approved corrective actions- Respond to technical questions from customers and internal teams in a timely manner- Maintain job profitability by completing work within budget and scope- Provide periodic status updates to management during service calls- Document service activity accurately and submit completed reports- Travel 40–50% to customer sites, including ~25% overnight travel- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; assist with other duties as neededRequired qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record- 3–5 years of applicable experience; robotics background is a plus- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude in machine tool or factory automation; above-average math skillsApply to help customers get dependable results from their automation systems.A Typical DayYour day starts by reviewing assignments from the Production & Installation Lead and confirming the parts, tools, and safety requirements needed for the work ahead. Some days you’ll head to a customer worksite; other days you’ll work in-house to complete scheduled repairs. Between tasks, you’ll coordinate logistics for upcoming visits, keep stakeholders informed on progress, and ensure documentation is completed promptly after each job. You’ll balance hands-on technical work with customer-facing communication, building professional relationships through clear explanations and practical guidance.
