Our client is a global automation solutions provider specializing in custom manufacturing systems for leading automotive, consumer, and industrial manufacturers. From robotic work cells to fully integrated production lines, they deliver turnkey automation solutions that help customers improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
With more than 1,700 employees worldwide, their Duncan, SC office serves as the North American sales and consulting hub. As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a Sales Engineer to develop new customer relationships and expand their presence.
What You'll Do
Develop new business opportunities for custom automation solutions throughout North America.
Build relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and manufacturers.
Meet with customers to identify automation opportunities and manufacturing challenges.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop technical concepts and proposals
Lead customer presentations, negotiations, and project discussions.
Represent the company at customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience selling automation, capital equipment, system integration, or custom manufacturing solutions.
Engineering degree preferred or equivalent technical sales experience.
Strong understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing processes.
Proven ability to develop new business and manage complex technical sales opportunities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel approximately 50% throughout North America, with occasional travel to Germany.

Competitive base salary (targeting approximately $100K, flexible based on experience)
Realistic first-year earnings around $130K
Second-year earning potential of $150K+
