Role Overview
We
are looking for an experienced Automation Lead with deep expertise in designing
and implementing automation frameworks within the security domain. The ideal
candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python, Grafana, and
security-related automation, with a proven ability to architect scalable
solutions that streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design
and develop automation frameworks for security processes and tools.
- Build
reusable components and libraries to accelerate automation initiatives.
- Automate
dashboards, alerts, and reporting using Grafana for security monitoring
and analytics.
- Develop
robust Python scripts and modules for process automation and integration.
- Collaborate
with security engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to identify
automation opportunities.
- Ensure
automation solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance
requirements.
- Optimize
existing automation workflows for performance and scalability.
- Provide
technical leadership and mentor team members on automation standards and
practices.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–8
years of experience in automation development, with at least 3+ years in
the security domain.
- Strong
proficiency in Python for scripting and framework development.
- Hands-on
experience with Grafana for dashboard automation and visualization.
- Solid
understanding of security principles and processes (IAM, monitoring,
compliance).
- Experience
in designing modular and scalable automation frameworks.
- Familiarity
with APIs, RESTful services, and integration patterns.
- Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong
communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience
with CI/CD pipelines and automation in cloud environments (AWS, Azure,
GCP).
- Knowledge
of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation
tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Exposure
to SIEM/SOAR platforms and security orchestration.
- Security
certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are a plus.
