Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support commercial manufacturing and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and B&R controls, along with experience supporting industrial automation equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment.
This contractor will work closely with the Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve high-level automation, controls, and vision-system issues occurring on production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and troubleshoot automated manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Diagnose and resolve PLC, controls, automation, and vision-system issues.
Work closely with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
Support Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and B&R control systems.
Troubleshoot industrial automation machines and production-line equipment.
Support GMP equipment and GMP manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams.
Assist with equipment troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and continuous improvement activities.
Follow applicable pharmaceutical manufacturing, GMP, and safety procedures.
