About the Role
We are looking for a developer-first Automation Engineer who combines software development, test automation, AI, and DevOps skills to improve the quality and delivery of complex enterprise applications.
You will work hands-on with application workflows, build automated testing solutions, develop CI/CD pipelines, and use AI-powered tools to improve test generation, regression analysis, and engineering productivity.
What You’ll Do
Learn and understand complex application workflows through hands-on testing and analysis.
Automate manual and regression testing using Python and modern automation frameworks.
Analyse application outputs to identify defects, regressions, and unexpected behaviour.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates, and deployment workflows.
Develop internal automation tools, frameworks, and reusable testing utilities.
Use AI coding assistants, LLMs, and agentic frameworks to accelerate automation and testing.
Support containerised environments, infrastructure automation, and artifact management.
Collaborate with developers, testers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and engineering processes.
What You’ll Need
2–4 years of experience in software development, test automation, or a similar engineering role.
Strong Python skills, preferably with pytest, pandas, and NumPy.
Strong SQL and relational database experience.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf.
Strong Git and software development practices.
Experience working with complex enterprise applications or business-critical systems.
Comfortable with hands-on testing, debugging, and detailed data analysis.
Nice to Have
Experience with LLMs or agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
C, C#/.NET, or Java experience.
Docker, Ansible, Linux/Unix scripting, or infrastructure-as-code experience.
Experience with messaging, APIs, distributed systems, or enterprise integrations.
Performance testing experience with tools such as k6, JMeter, or Locust.
